Its the annual graduation for SHG kids and this year's event is more grand than any other year.
From the simple logos, banners, postcards, videos, gifts (flowers and dragonfly key chains) presentation, awards recognition, the effort and thoughts put in are obvious and 毋庸置疑。
As usual, I'm proud of every SHG kid regardless of their results and as I truly believe that each and everyone of them has learn and grown over the year, in terms of attitude improvement and character building.
Early this year, the kids were still foreign and strangers to me. I remember myself telling my fellow volunteers that I can't remember all the kids' names and their faces.
Yesterday, I knew every name and every face. We made friends and build rapport over the year. Some gave me a present though they weren't my student, reminding me greatly why I have stayed on for so many years. The bonds are clearly magical.
Officially turning ad-hoc next year, I'll still stick around and offer help if I can.
All the best to our new volunteers and keep up the Ang Sua spirit.
